HARRY Redknapp was crowned the ultimate champ of I’m A Celebrity 2018, beating the likes of Emily Atack and John Barrowman.
Before the big reveal though, the campmates had to overcome one last BushTucker trial. Here’s a reminder on what happened in the final episode of I’m A Celeb 2018…
Who won I’m A Celebrity?
Harry Redknapp wasvoted King of the Jungle on this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
He was crowned champion on December 9, 2018, beating Emily Atack and John Barrowman.
He was the favourite to win the show after his stories about wife Sandra.
On the programme he had his leg massaged by Noel Edmonds, was given dunny duties after revealing he had no sense of smell and he constantly moaned about the weird food.
He also revealed his great love for jam roly poly.
He took part in a number of Bushtucker Trials – having to face his fear of rats.
The former football manager also performed a unique version of My Way, shouted Yabbie Dabbie Do at Noel and held six beach worms in his mouth.
What happened in the final episode of I’m A Celebrity?
During the final episode, each of the celebrities had to do one final trial in order to win meals for camp.
Emily was the first to go putting on the infamous Fill Your Face helmet which was filled with critters.
The first dump was 1kg of giant mealworms and 2,000 crickets followed by four yabbies and four giant burrowing cockroaches.
Emily was shaking as four minutes in and into her final 60 seconds Dec announced that 15 large spiders were going in.
She managed to pull through and returned to camp happy that shed won three starters, a drink of her choice and a treat.
John was next to be welcomed to the Bushtucker Trial clearing for the Bushtucker Bonanza.
Holly told him he was to be presented with ten dishes including beach worms, dead water spider, goats eyes, a fermented duck egg and a bulls penis.
John successfully ate the lot earning three main courses for camp, a drink and a treat.
What was Harry’s final task?
Then it was Harry’s turn to do an endurance trial, called Danger Down Under.
For this challenge he had to strap himself in under an underground chamber close the top and stay in the chamber for five minutes to win five stars.
He closed his eyes and was joined by cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, hotly followed by rats.
Rats were then sent in, with presenters Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly not wanting to tell him that the rodents were in with him.
After he successfully passed the challenge the team met for their final supper together.
Then, the moment of the big reveal – Harry received the most votes and was crowned King of The Jungle for I’m A Celebrity 2018.
