TEAM ROONEY

DANIELLE LLOYD

Former WAG Danielle Lloyd dubbed Rebekah a “rat”, by posting a number of emojis under Coleen’s post.

The 35-year-old, who was married to footballer Jamie O’Hara, added: “On a serious note though who does that it’s terrible.”

This morning she claimed she had “similar run-ins” with Rebekah, who blasted the claims “utter b******s”.

Speaking on This Morning, she said: “I wasnt shocked, I have had run-ins with Rebekah over similar things.”

She added: “She thought maybe if she was feeding the press she would get more headlines for herself.”

LIZZIE CUNDY

And Sky presenter Lizzie Cundy backed Wayne Rooney’s wife’s claims, telling Channel 5 news the WAG wouldn’t have made the accusations unless she “knew 100 per cent”.

She revealed she admired Coleen’s efforts to get to the bottom of it and find out the truth.

Adding: “Coleen has been doing her detective work for a couple of years now. I know these stories about her have been repeatedly coming out in the press.

“She really wanted to get to the bottom of it and she did. I know Coleen and I am friends with both. Coleen is very intelligent, very bright. I don’t think she is given enough credit for that.”

TONI DUGGAN

England footballer Toni Duggan, who has played for Everton and Manchester City joined Team Rooney.

Now playing in Spain, the Three Lions winger waded in with her views on the spat.

She commented on Coleen’s post with: “Wow! This is disgusting! Hope your ok @coleen_rooney.”

CHANTELLE HESKEY

And Emile Heskey’s wife, Chantelle voiced her support for her pal, as she told how she too had been a victim of stories being leaked.

Chantelle, who married the former Liverpool and England striker in 2014, said her friend Coleen was right to publicly accuse Rebekah.

She said: She’s a lovely girl, has a lovely family and I dont think shes just done this overnight, this is something she’s investigated over a long period of time.”

CHRIS HUGHES

Outside the football world, supporters have also flocked to back Coleen – with Love Island’s Chris Hughes left impressed with her sleuth-like behaviour.

He wrote: “This is the best detective work since Columbo aired in February 1968. Feel for Coleen.”

A spokesman for Coleen told the Sun last night: It is irrefutable that the leaks came from one account, and one account only.

NICOLA MCCLEAN

Nicola McLean, married to former QPR player Tom Williams, appeared to lend her support to Rebekah.

She liked the denial message posted not long after Coleen made the bombshell accusations.

The WAG revealed the pregnant mum has had to take her kids out of school over the claims, adding: “Rebekah has categorically denied. I’ve spoken to her personally. If it’s someone from her account she will find out and she will deal with it.

“What she’s shocked about and what I quite agree with is how public Coleen has done it. Coleen has been very clever to say it’s Rebekah Vardy’s account so that’s not saying its Rebekah, it’s saying it’s someone else with access.”

JAMIE VARDY

Her husband, Jamie, also backed her denial – liking her emotional Tweet claiming her account has often been hacked.

Rebekah’s spokesman said of Coleens public claims: It isnt true. She is now very upset and stressed so has passed it to her legal team to deal with. Such a shame that Coleen didnt just call her when she had her number.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Yesterday Coleen told her 1.2 million followers that Rebekah, had been telling the Press about her private posts and stories.

She had blocked all her Instagram followers apart from Rebekahfrom a private account and posted a number of fictitious tales.

She said she suspectedRebekahand turned detective to try and find out who was leaking stories without her permission or knowledge.

Coleen decided Rebekah must be the culprit after the claims made the news, which the pregnant WAGhas strongly denied

Her bombshell post went viral and sparked a host of hilarious responses and memes with the pair airing their differences for the world to see.

The mum-of-four’s original post, which has been “liked” more than 75,000 times, read: This has been a burden in my life for a few years now and finally I have got to the bottom of it.”

And Rebekah hit back with a long post of her own, saying: “If you thought this was happening you could have told me & I could have changed my passwords to see if it stopped.

“Over the years various people have had access to my insta & just this week I found I was following people I didn’t know and have never followed myself.”

Each of the stories provided to The Sun was put to Coleens representatives before publication, and on each occasion they declined to comment.

A Sun Spokesperson said: “Like all reputable media organisations, we don’t comment on sources.”

Both Coleen and Rebekah were trending on Twitter throughout the day with followers commenting on their fall-out.
